Outer ring for FBX brand drawn cup needle roller bearing is fine pressed with steel strip, bearing with this kind of structure possesses small space, and has higher loading capacity. They are suitable for applications with limited space and housing is not hard enough to act as raceway. The shaft surface can be used as the raceway while hardened and ground. No requirement on axial location when the bearing is pressed into the housing.
